Astra-30 Laser Lithotripsy Workshop at KEM Hospital, Mumbai
Status Medical Equipments’ Astra-30, 30W Holmium YAG Laser Lithotripter was used to conduct RIRS cases at Laser Lithotripsy workshop conducted at KEM Hospital Mumbai on 10th December 2021.
Dr. Harshavardhan Tanwar, a renowed endourologist, Dr. Bhushan Patil, a well-known Urologist from KEM Mumbai, Dr. Aniruddha and Dr. Bhujbal attended the workshop. M.Ch. (Urology) students from KEM and Sion College were also present.
A total of 4 cases were performed with Astra-30. Stones of sizes 8.5mm, 10mm, 12mm and 15mm were successfully treated and the time taken to break the stones were 16 mins, 13 mins, 8 mins and 13 mins respectively.
We are proud to receive a positive feedback from all attendees, respected professors and doctors. Our Holmium YAG Laser lithotripter was able to perform better than its competitors with successful dusting effect and also gave a clear visibility during the whole procedure.
Dr. Harshavardhan Tanwar appreciated the overall machine with a special mention to the dusting effect.
